Report System Needs Some Work

I'm making this post because I've seen a few threads about trolls in champ select recently:

There needs to be a report option in champ select, or some kind of collective "/voteban" command or anything to help protect players from toxic people or trolls. The fact that you either: a) have to be held hostage by these people and waste 20+ minutes of your life in a game with them -or- b) dodge and you get punished while they get away for free is extremely unreasonable.

"Sending a support ticket" (which I've done before btw) is not very helpful either. They don't even have a category for report tickets, you just have to pick the vaguest "gameplay" category and hope it's in the right section for player support.

Basically, can we protect players in a way that they don't have to spend 20 minutes + champ select + queue time all with a toxic player or troll just to report them a single time?

/VoteKick : starts a vote where everyone in the lobby has to agree that they don't want to play with the dude. It is at risk to be abused by 4-man premades but honestly, is it really that much of a tradeoff? The 4-man would be wasting their time as well if they tried abusing it, so I don't think the consequences would be that bad in comparison to the gain.

Thoughts?

No.

Though if you made a premade group chances go down dramatically that you will encounter trolls.

I agree the Report system needs improvement, but not with to your idea.

At this point Riot has gone through many ideas and only implemented the one's that are safe and predictable.

A four man group can kick a 5th player, if one of their friends wanted their Role, but they didn't give it - For example, This four man are bound to meet at least 5-6 players who are not standing for their BS, complaints and posts about it would sky rocket, and then your back to square one.

Riot has already mentioned they are looking into "Role hijacking" players and what can be done, but to be honest it's cause of the autofill BS to begin with.

FIX autofill first. then we can talk about dodging and Role Hijackers.
