I don't think so. Most games are no chat anyway because people can't say, "hey supp, you should buy a sightstone" without getting reported and eventually chat banned.

Muting just makes you feel like there talking about you without you being able to see it. I usually mute the entire enemy team as to not get tilted but my own team... It's a different story. I try to tell them to do something, they don't listen or respond. I ping a few times they get angry. It's just terribly overall. The lack of good communication that goes on in a team game like this.

They should try a no chat queue only chat in the lobby and champ select maybe.

The less chat goes on, the better the game is. I for one support our mute overlords.
