I hardly ever am bothered by bm but today it felt personal

I don't know somehow though the enemy mid laner putting my win rate in all chat for my whole team to see and there's as well. As far as psychological play it was very effective at being demoralizing and it allowed my team to point fingers and say im the reason we lost. It's cool though Ill keep grinding this game while everyone arounds me tears me down for even playing.

Also is it right using a third party software to look up stats about the player when even riot does not give us them for that match.

Honestly, I feel bad for you. Finding that someone has a bad match history then sowing to the world is basically the equivalent of pantsing someone in league. Kinda makes me mad that people actually have the indecency to do that.

I also rarely get bothered by mean people when harrass me. I've been playing since season 2 and i've been diamond for since almost 6 years... But yesterday there was this player who would harrass me and almost make me tilt.

Keep in mind that I was playing in the high diamond division.

He would check our team's rank last season, and just massively ping that player's name whenever he would die or whenever he had the occasion. Of course, I was diamond 5 last season. So he would ping my name whenever he could and troll the game so we would lose. everytime a member of our team would make a comment, he would simply reply a smiley face ( like that :) ) and say that we don't belong in this elo, and say that we were exploiting the current rank system.

It annoyed me more than any other harrassing, because that player would find any excuses of dying and put it in my back.

Nevertheless, we lost the game and he kept on harrassing me during the after game chat saying how bad I was and there was no way I could be diamond and stuff.

Report them and send a ticket if you feel like you were harassed. Other than that, just mute them.

R107 Games2/26/2019, 5:42:38 PM7 votes

Ignore/mute them, disregard what they said and proceed with the game

Recommendation: Turn off all chat unless you're playing a more chill match (i.e. Blind, at least for me).

I don't tilt very easily but I know it's helped me stay focused. The vast majority of the time I don't say anything in all chat nor do I see others say anything meaningful in there. I can talk with both sides after the match ends if there's a particular reason to beyond saying "good game" or whatever.

It's a competitive game and the enemy will do and say anything to distract you. You must expect it and be pleasantly surprised when they're actually nice. Let this be a catalyst in your personal growth towards thicker skin, something that will help you both in this game and in real life.

InsaneVaynePain2/27/2019, 4:55:11 AM2 votes

at least you felt embarrassment. what that says to me is your are trying to learn. who knows maybe this was in the right direction to help keep you focused?

Bob the Toastr2/27/2019, 8:54:11 PM2 votes

Whether or not you think it's "right" to look up stats about the game, it's necessary. Not looking up game stats is like not taking a free bonus.

comedybingbongs2/27/2019, 7:57:41 PM2 votes

If you are this easily intimidated by the enemy team then why did you turn off the all-chat filter. When you make an account it is initially made so that you can't engage in all chat. You manually went in and chose to be able to interact with the enemy team

I just mute everyone as soon as I load into the game, don't take any chances and so I don't have to faff around with it mid-game its the only way to play keeping sanity nowadays~

Umbrał2/27/2019, 2:15:38 AM2 votes

buddy, if you int everygame ( which what you do) dont cry to boards when its YOU whos the problem.

Worst Kench NA2/27/2019, 11:00:50 PM2 votes

See, if people did this to me I'd just be like "yep, I do have a 30% WR. Imagine how embarassing it'd be if you were one of the 30% that lost to me! Hope that doesn't happen now :)"

They'll try to deflect it with the usual "you ok bro", "ur bad lmao" etc. but my point still stands.

I'm at the point where the only thing that tilts me is if I'm playing a champ I'm supposed to be good at (and sometimes even not) and I notice that I'm playing badly, and therefore actually at fault. I just mute my teammates though as they're more often than not more toxic than the enemy team is.

dam that's some sick self-sabotage there. He'd climb faster if he didn't tilt his teammates by posting winrates; especially at the lower rank you go, the more susceptible players' minds are to outside influence which is what causes tilt => bad play => loss.

you'll find in every endeavor of life the highest achieving people have the highest mental fortitude and highest barriers against outside influences (especially negative/detraction) and other people's opinions

So yea, that's an option buuuut, and here me out because this sounds crazy, how about we mute them instead?

Theres no reason for you to have all chat on unless you want to hear shit like that

Snowman Arc2/26/2019, 10:24:12 PM1 votes

Well, your win rate is low on Anivia, but you haven't played that many games, so it doesn't mean that much. I remember last season have an ASol on my team with 300 games and a 40% win rate. That is something I did make fun of, especially since he fed his enemy laner and cost us the game.

HungryAngry2SPP2/26/2019, 10:36:00 PM1 votes
  • Don't take the blame on yourself, blame the others: I have a bad WR? Team's fault! (Partially kidding)

  • Grow a thicker skin, not trying to insult, but, c'mon. Don't let some randoms demoralize you!

  • As many above said, mute them. They can be a pretty big pain in the ass.

  • Unless you're one of these tryhards that want to end even URF games as fast as possible just to see that "victory" animation... Just have fun with your champ. I have a lot of games on Blitzcrank, probably it's <50WR, but I don't care, he is (was tbh) too fun to bother

Serika Zero2/27/2019, 4:26:34 AM1 votes

block all chat. When was the last positive thing that came out of it?

also, when your team starts getting annoying: /mute all

MOLTinaTOR2/27/2019, 7:38:11 AM1 votes

Don't even let that shit bother you. I never get bothered by someone flaming or trying to tilt me because I know that it's their main goal. I don't give them what they want. I don't even mute them. I just watch and laugh as they miserably try to tilt me. I tell them to literally keep going and to not stop flaming. That's how meaningless it is to me. I know, I'm weird. If someone says even 1 thing that is meant to hurt your feelings, immediately mute their ass, because there'll ALWAYS be more of it. Mute their pings while you're at it as well.

Tomoe Gozen2/27/2019, 12:52:14 PM1 votes

You do know you can mute people, right? As soon as things get demoralizing or downright stupid, just mute and move on. And report afterwards, if you thought they were uncooperative.

Starcraft243ver2/27/2019, 2:22:22 PM1 votes

Eh never tough about doing this.

Thanks !

Scottsc202/27/2019, 8:47:13 PM1 votes

Mute them and play better so you won't have to mute them all.
