how hard can it be to not allow certain phrases as names?

yesterday i ran into a guy called "kys kys kys kys" and 3 random numbers which im not going to say or else it would be name shame. so 90% of his chat looked like this "say my name, what is my name?" "say my name or i feed". one guy did say his name, i reported this guy cause i wanted to see if i get the feedback message. i didnt but i addet him and while we were chatting he just went offline so i assume he got banned (why no feedback message btw? i want it you know)

seriously how hard can it be to make a filter that does not allow you to make names that include like f*g, kys, cancer, nigg.. etc? riot seriously... your lazyness might get a world record soon.

Chances are he's baiting a ban.

How hard is it to stop this? Pretty easy, , but does it require someone and time out of their original schedule to do it. Probably yes as well.

Then you need to consider things on how they stop people from doing that in other languages and do other servers as well. It suddenly became a project that is much bigger than anticipated.

I hope you reported him at the end of the screen for inappropriate name and trolling.

If they block the easy to detect and punish ones, people will back off and try and toe the line.

That probability means it's not worth the time or effort to block some names.

America Banned alcohol Americans continued to drink alcohol and got big in organized crime Banning never works, if people want to be dicks they will find a way So if we know banning something doesn't deter being a dick, then let them be a dick and punish them asap(which is kinda what they do now)
