I just lost 20 LP in a 3v5, where our top lane went 1-5-1 and left the game, then our jungle left the game when we wouldn't surrender.
It's really unacceptable that it's 2017 and there still hasn't been anything done to deal with this. Please improve how this situation is handled.
So, should team A be (De)compensated when someone from team B goes afk? I think you're neglecting work that both teams put in during the match. Further, what's gonna stop someone from going afk to benefit the rest of their team?
Absolutely. The game is balanced at 5v5 so having 1 leaver makes it unbalanced.
But honestly, I have recently been saying that (low ELO) should remove derank and minimize loss punishment in general. It is necessary for the low ELO so just let them have fun.
But then why would this not apply to feeders? When your autofilled botlane goes 0/20 vs the other teams botlane duo, you are essentially playing a 3v5.
Maybe once we have a legitimate solo queue. Otherwise it can be abused by duos, which is what Riot is worried about.
The afkers should pay their LP to compensate your loss.
