Doesn't that count as griefing?
Any player can choose playing with a champ having a primary role as Tank/Fighter/Assassin but secondary Support, then at least choose starting items for supports. Just switch to offensive items build later in the game if needed.

Firu1 votesI've seen Pantheon, Xin, Mundo, and LeBlanc supports. They're rare but I've seen them. Picking a certain champion class into a certain role is not punishable at all. I'm not saying that those champions I listed are great supports (and I main support and would never play one in ranked), I'm just saying I've seen them.
Remember, there was a time (years ago) when people levied these same complaints if they saw a Brand, Vel'Koz, or Annie support in their game. In fact, just a couple of months ago people who have raged if you picked Trundle support.
