Nighttime - the time to quit at the start/middle of the match

I play League as often as I can. Which isn't terribly often, all things considered. It seems like the daytime is the best time to play, though, as everyone seems focused and friendly.

Nighttime, however... Every match always has one or two of those types of players who quit at the very start of the match, or AFK at the start and never return. OR it has the type who quit in the middle, leaving us with four or three players fighting.

Anyone else having this problem? (Oh, who'm I kidding, of course ya are...) Is there any way that this could be combatted more efficiently?
