If you use third party programs, ANY third party programs, don't cry about being banned.

Is it really that difficult to understand?

Perhaps Riot should write it very clearly in their launcher: DO NOT USE THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS WITH THIS GAME.

I lost count of how many times other players suggested me to install this or that third party program, telling me "it's an innocent program, and nobody's ever been banned for it". No, thanks.

If you get banned for using a third party program, it's only your own fault.

Thank you for this topic. It's good to see someone who knows nothing about the issue can just be an ass to the people losing accounts without knowing why.

I'm sure you would be right here with them all if you were banned too.

Riot is basically saying "Use at your own risk". They don't mind if you use Voice chat or custom skins ( paid skins or skins with particles that help you hit skillshots not included ), but you are using those at your own risk. You can't be 100% sure if there is a possible exploit in any program. The only ones i use are Discord ( voice chat ) and Wooxy ( custom skins ), and i never got banned for using those. In the future there might be an exploit in Wooxy and I might get banned just for having it installed...you never know. But those are the only 3rd party programs i feel safe using for now.

They support 3rd party devs of some applications. In the discussion below, championify is supported by Riot. Read Riot comments, they even have it installed on their machines.

Since I miss Item Sets and given all those comments, I felt comfortable installing it.

From what I've seen I think you'll find a large number of people have only been using applications which have been given the okay by riot. I.e Curse I think you should stop assuming things before you know the full story.

Chrome is thrid party software, so listening to pandora in your browser while playing fits that definition. Just sayin.
