Queuing for ranked without doing your best to win needs to be made unacceptable behavior

I'm getting really sick of encountering players who claim that 'they're tilted and probably going to lose,' and then proceed to do something almost indistinguishable for intentionally feeding. This happens constantly, and there's no punishment because 'lol just a bad game.'

Ranked needs to be held to higher standards. Players who join ranked games and claim that they're going to lose because they're playing badly should not be able to queue for ranked. This behavior should be considered unacceptable and has no place in ranked.

It's almost like there isn't a casual only setting in league like no normals for these people

I believe Riot even said something of the same nature during the scandal of that one tournament where the last two teams decided just to play for fun and split the earnings.

"While there is some contention over the exact nature of the actions taken by Curse NA and Dignitas which led to the disqualification, both teams, as well as MLG and Riot, agree that any collusion, or anything involving not playing a tournament match to win, warrants disqualification."

Even though "ranked" is not considered a tournament, it should fall under the same umbrella as far as playing to win.

thats what pisses me off to no end.....or the classic gg after 3 min in .....really you expect to snowball 100% of the time nonstop

Someone accidentally banned the champion he wanted, so he's trolling all of us in game, while saying 'idc if we lose, but im not inting so i wont get banned.'

This is the 5th time someone on my team has done this today. This is really unacceptable.

agreed, i'm not at ranked yet because i'm under 30 but when I hit 30, I will put 100% into my ranked games or not play ranked when I can't put 100% into it. it's not fair to my teammates and it's also not fair to myself because I'd be cheating myself out of my true rank.
