Even if they're not being used in a hostile and/or derogatory context. Suspend them. If it was used in a harmless context, they can explain themselves in a support ticket. Just get these people out of our community.
Okay the n word isn't fair. Not to be racist (truly), but what if a premade group was saying the n word and they were all black? You don't know that from behind the screen. Should they all get banned or suspended for being pals? They say that word (in their own terms) as a friendly thing. It's not meant to be degrading. So we can't just say "if we see these words, it's an automatic suspension/ban".
Completely agree with OP. Some of Riot's current/previously banned trolls have posted and down voted already, but this should get the royal upvote treatment.

Strongly disagree. Ignoring the fact that the word cancer can be used in so many ways and %%%got is a word for cigarette in some countries...
Banning words outright because they offend certain people is extremely un-American. It's cowardly. Law should never mess with language. That's how you get to be in an authoritarian state.
Riot hasn't even banned use of the strongest profanity as long as it is in a context not directed at someone and that rule should stand for all words.

Maybe they should set up a system were you type the word(s) in, and whenever that word is used in chat it is sensor'd like the cuss words and such.

Im not american, in my country we speak spanish and I really wanted to know why the second word you quoted is so offensive. I mean this just out of curiosity and to get away from my ignorance. Is it a bad word like sh*t ? Does it have history that make it so offensive?

People who act like you should be automatically suspended, and forced to grow some skin. If you can't handle people on the internet typing... by God, how would you survive in the real world? Just grow up, okay? Do the whole world a favor.
i see your point. and i kind of agree. but.. these really do depend on the context. which is why bans need to be handed out by real people instead of an automated system. i've told my teammates in aram many times to kill themselves, because they were fed and sitting on 8k gold. not toxic. just trying to help.
as for slurs.. i'm not really sure. i would say that certain people have a right to them but most of the time it is the racists and homophobes using them, so if i had to stop sarcastically calling myself a f#ggot in exchange for all the homophobes in league getting banned i'd say that's a pretty good compromise.
