The toxicity is vastly beter than it was a couple of years ago and even then it was not worse than the abuse you get in overwatch or cs:go atm. ( On a related note: pls pls pls dont add voice coms to L0L)
The good old days of cs;source, DoD, BF2, age of empires, ... where people just played and shut up unless its friendly banter with mostly premade friends are gone. Its sad yes but saying this community is the worst is just not true.
I'm with you on the no voice thing. Having to read their toxic chat is bad enough. I couldn't even imagine having to deal with screechers again...

I don't think its the most toxic, but the way the community reacts to what it considers "toxicity" makes it the worst.
I BEG RIOT to add voice comms, if they want to force teamplay down our throats it's an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY. Idc what anyone says, complex plays/strategies are impossible to ping or type in the middle of the action, with voice comms it's SO much easier and direct.
Not sure what you're talking about but back in those days gamers flamed each other a lot. They also would laugh it off then fire back and not be mortally wounded like people these days.
