Toxic teammates but don't get banned even though i reported

So i just had to deal with the worse harassment in league in all my 4 years of playing league. I USE the in game report system, but the two people who were harassing me for 31 minutes non stop did not get any kind of ban or punishment. So i make a forum discussion talking about these toxic players, and how NO ONE should have to deal with 31 mins of harassment. Riot TAKES DOWN my forum post saying "From: Riot Games Hey Dethflash, We understand that you want to get word out about this player and their in-game behaviors but this is not the correct avenue to get attention on them. Please continue to use our in-game reporting system to put these players through our behavioral systems. I did report these two people like you told me Riot but you haven't done anything to stop them from harassing people. I just don't understand how these two players can curse at me, calling me all sorts of rude names, and pinging MIA on me all game, but they dont get any sort of ban. Please riot, if someone is pinging MIA all game they arent trying to be helpful, they are just being toxic and annoying.

With the way the system is set up, it generally takes more than one game of toxic behavior for a punishment to be given. Because of this, if someone isn't punished right after the game you reported them for, it's likely because they haven't yet built up a long enough history of being toxic. This doesn't mean that their toxic behavior is acceptable, because it isn't, nor does it mean that your report was worthless, because if they continue that behavior in future games, they will see a punishment, and your report will definitely help with that.

Yep. This is why the trolls run rampant in this game. Nothing happens to them and they continue on, people copy their behaviors and assume it is okay.

How do you know they didn't get banned? If it's by "Not seeing a message after I reported" that only pops up if your report triggered the ban. If A played 10 games and got reported in each one, Game 1-9 Reporters doesn't get a message.

Ya I feel like there should be a line if they crossed, they need an immediate ban. Today while I was ranking up, I had a 3 people on my team being majorly sexist cuz of my girly username. The chat was littered with "female dog" comments and shaming me for being a girl.

When someone is having a tough go at a game, I try to cheer them up by encouraging them and good communication, but that opens the doorway of using me as a scapegoat. I don't mind it most of the time, but when it becomes threatening and harassment, riot needs to flag these and deal with these.

Well, pinging mia or using an in-game feature isn't something you can actually get punished for. If they really did do something wrong though, they aren't going to get banned right on the spot like that.
