aside from reporting the player. what should you do if someone is making up lies about you to the enemy team trying to get you reported. without directly asking for reports. ive noticed some trolls will do this to keep you from muting them, in order to know what you're being accused of. and can plead to the enemy team that he's lying example /all player x told me to kill myself /all player x is using racial slurs.

Jo0o3 votesWith so many people playing this game, the odds that the enemy team will a) believe what is said about you, b) make note of it, and then c) be in a position somewhere down the line to treat you differently over it are incredibly slim. You don't really have a reputation to protect in League, unless you're a well-known player, and if that is the case, you're probably somewhat insulated against random slander simply by virtue of being in the public eye and therefore transparent in your conduct.
In short: You're anonymous. It's great that you want to protect your image, but this really isn't worth pursuing.

So start with the good guy rage inducers. "I am sorry you feel that way maybe a hug will make you feel better?"
Usually who ever is on your team will get even more mad start raging more in /all the other team and your premade team start raging at each other and you can sit back and enjoy the laughs.

Nik Nikerson1 votesI personally wouldn't really care. Because 1) No one actually knows who I am in real life (outside of my friends who wouldn't believe lies about me anyway) and 2) Why would I care what you or complete strangers I will never have any sort of interaction with think about me?
Why do you feel the need to defend yourself against lies that literally mean nothing in the grand scheme of things? You know they're lies. What does it even matter what the other people in your game think? The overwhelming odds are you are literally NEVER going to have any interaction with those people again (unless you're in masters, which I don't believe you are). Do you really think that anyone is even going to remember what was said by the next day?

Based on your reasoning on why you are "defending" yourself, you seem to care greatly about what some random person said on the internet. Who cares? Chances are you won't queue up with/against or even see those players again. Any negative image of you disappears as soon as that game ends.

There's literally no reason to defend yourself if someone is telling lies about you to the enemy team. Chances are they don't care one way or another, and even if they do report you all it does is lower their report weight.

Mute them, there is no reason to care what they are accusing you of.

So if they are making up lies about you in all chat and asking other players to report you, they pretty much hung themselves. Mute them if you cant ignore them without muting them, And report them, if you feel the need to do so. False reports are just that so long as you were sportsmanlike, didn't AFK, and put forth your best effort, it is just a false report. I would not worry about it. It sucks and it does not feel good to be lied about. I am sorry you had to deal with it. But if you are in that situation, Mute/Report is the best option.

Sylas Dr3gb0urn31 votesIf you are in a situation where players are lying about you and are not asking for reports then I really have no clue why this discussion is a discussion, other than because it hurt our feelings. In which case, again, I am sorry that this happened, no one deserves to be lied about. When players, or people in real life, are lying about you, its because they can not find a legit reason to talk poo about you to begin with. You should be PROUD they had to resort to a LIE, in order to try and get under your skin, because that shows that you are on the right Sportsmanlike path if not a better player than them as well. Muting them is your best option if you do not have the self discipline to ignore them without the MUTE button crutch.

And as I said before, if a person resorts to a lie, in order to get a reaction of any sort, IT almost ALWAYS means they have nothing LEGIT on you. Be proud and focus on the fact that they have NOTHING legit on you, rather than zeroing in on the false statements they made.
