Being logic or toxic seems to be the same aspect in the eyes to some players.

Ok, I had this person who went irelia against ryze and didint buy merc treads into 40 mins of the game and got solo killed 3 times in lane. I asked her why didint she build treads to stack tenacity to break out the root. And she said "didint have cash". So I countered her argument pointing out she went trinity force, henceforth her claim is invaild. I always reminded her to buy treads, but she didint even until the end.

she was 6/12/3.

She then said after game im a "illogical prick" and that im "not a nice person" and that "mean people cant win in ranked" (I'm on the same side as her dammit) and that she is "playing for fun" and that by "playing nice, you can climb the ladder". I'm simply stunned because not only did she flat out insult my personality, she thinks that being a goody goody that cant reflect the reason of a loss can climb to higher tiers.

Ok, I admit I had quite a lot of salt. But well...is being logical and toxic the same side of the coin? Like I dont get it.

You can be logical and toxic at the same time. You can also be logical&not toxic but still bring out negative reaction because of poor wording (ie askng a madman to calm down will only make him more mad). In your case since your teammate isn't willing to do as you say, I'd say word it around, make it sound like you're "advising" her to buy merc tread and perhaps her life will be easier. If she still doesn't want to, well, just let her be and do the best you can with the rest of the team. You can't expect ppl to do the best course of actions; I know drinking pops is bad but I do it regardless.

the only logic is not to flame back because you dont make anything better by arguing or flaming back. so stop it. everything else is stupid and usually ends in both players being toxic.
