PSA: Just because a game is dodged, does NOT mean you cant report someone>

all too often i hear people say "play out the game, just so he can get reported" leading to the myth that you are forced to play in an already toxic situation where someone is already trolling in champ select. if you want to play it out for the chance of winning in spite of the troll, thats one thing. but DO NOT hesitate to dodge a game you don't want to play because you're worried you can't report.

you just have to manually submit a report via a support ticket

go to "choose a request type"

"I want to report abusive behavior, cheating, or a malicious link"

when it asks "where did this behavior occur" put"In game" and leave a comment explaining the behavior happened in champ select. saying what they were doing

EG. "i got autofilled support give me x role or i feed" and then Instalocks TahmKench summoner 11 summoner 1

use "negative attitude" "verbal abuse" or "other" depending on the behavior

it would also be nice to get a red to confirm that these types of reports actually get reviewed

One suggestion that has popped up is being able to report someone in Champion Select whether it's due to unwarranted hostility or for being held hostage (i.e. someone threatening to feed if they don't get champion x or lane y). If, say you can vote to kick the person and get entered into queue for another fifth person, that could address the problem you've outlined. Although it has been argued that premade groups can abuse this to get someone else who would accept their demands.

I mean when someone is threatening to int or run it down mid or straight up trolling, what else can you do except dodge? It sucks that you virtually no power other than sacrificing LP, resetting the queue timer and getting leaver buster or just straight up take a chance that he won't.
