Toxicity is often more about how you say something than what you say.

"hey idiot, they are all AD, why do you have MR?" vs "it might be better if you did blablabla"

If they ask you for advice what to build, then no, its not toxic. But if they dont ask you for opinion or advice, then yes its toxic.

Not really, if someone doesn't realize they should/shouldn't be building something, then advising them otherwise could teach them something which is far from toxic. It becomes toxic when you become oppressive about it and try forcing them to buy the item. If they say no, then obviously they aren't gonna build the item, so forcing it is toxic, but simply asking isn't.

You still have to LEARN how to play the game WELL. If you are so arrogant you think you know everything like most of the self-entitled brats that infest the game. Then why bother playing it. I mean if you know it so well it should be So easy to instantly reach challenger. But they dont know everything, so stop encouraging them that they do. When you start a new game, you DONT instantly know how to play the game. Thats why you have to LEARN the rules. And with a game like this, you have to LEARN what item is best for a particular situation.

If you are so full of yourself that you think "I know everything, I dont need someone to teach me" then why the hell do you bother playing in the first place. Part of the fun OF a game is learning how it works. If I am new with a champ, I am fine with advice and will even ask for advice on build suggestions or pointers. All games involve Some learning. And you cant learn unless someone else TEACHES you, otherwise you just make the same mistakes. Reading this comment made me physically ill with its stupidity. All games require learning, and in order to learn, someone has to be willing to teach. To spit in the face of those willing to just offer helpful advice is beyond stupidity.

Except every champion have different build paths. You are supposed to find which suits you the best. I dont think my comment made u ill with stupidity. I believe your personal stupidity did that beforehand. Part of the fun of a game is learning how it works BY TRYING DIFFERENT STUFF AND DISCOVERING BY YOURSELF. All games require learning and u are supposed to do it by making mistakes, trying different stuff, falling and rising again. Not by being that guy who watched youtube to see how to pass certain challenges in video games. Also someone bronze V trying to teach someone something?

Honestly people like him irritate me. Saying that a game doesnt involve learning, and any learning should be done on your own, no help at all. Gee well guess that will put teachers out of a job, just let everyone enjoy the Mistakes (including the ones that get people killed) But all in the name of "Lernin stuff". Just go ahead and let everyone teach themselves, see how long that works out lol :) The best way to avoid the same mistakes is to learn from someone who has ALREADY experienced that mistake and can prepare you for the outcome. And just to put things in perspective. I am autistic. (Incase he thinks of trying to "insult" me by calling me a retard, a downy kid...or whatever the popular label is this week (pretty sure the label rotates weekly)

i feel it, people can disagree with me but i've had games against full ad teams or games where there were 4 ap and an adc and everyone was doing horribly except the adc who was fed af and everyone in my team who was tank/bruiser kept building mr and im just like "hey the adc is fed you should probably build armor since the rest arent doing much damage" and someone said stfu, surrender voted and when it failed 2 people afk'd :l

Like everything else in the game, there are several right ways and wrong ways to do so. Generally, the distinction is between suggesting and ordering.

Example of a right way: "If you get a hexdrinker first, you'll dominate the lane" Example of a wrong way: "Idiot, you have to rush hexdrinker or you'll feed like a noob"

Imo, if they cannot handle "I think you should build item x" with nothing else said, then they should reevaluate their perspective on negative behavior. On the flip side, it is not your job to make other players better, it is matchmaking's job to match them lower after the game, so try not to be bothered by bad builds
