'It's the end of the season, so I'm not trying to win' - This is happening in 50-60% of my games
Can something please be done to punish this behavior in ranked? This is really unacceptable.

Not trying to win is already a report option
This sounds pessimistic, but the harsh reality is that you aren't going to move up in the last month of the season. I'm at plat, and I fully accept this a truth. Take these games as an experience to improve, not criticize your teammates for "not trying to win."

Ain't climbing. I played two games on my smurf today hoping to get it into plat (I get 32 lp per win), in spite of snowballing bot, getting every drake and rift, my midlaner spent the entire game flaming and berating me for not 2v3 diving their enemy team. He was clearly inting, not just playing badly. He'd dive in 1v3 under turret when the enemy team was full health. Fortunately I got us baron, we won a teamfight and ended. Next game, completely different player but the same exact attitude, 1v3ing full health enemy teams under turrets. Just accepting gold and playing for fun now.
statistically there are more people on the other team not trying to win than on your team. enjoy the freelo and stop whining about it
