Hey world. EarthenDragon here. But I suppose you already knew that since my YouTube videos are so popular... chirp chirp ... Anyways. The only time I really report people is when they use hate speech (e.g. racism or homophobia) or promote suicide. If someone's telling you you suck at the game or to uninstall or calling you a troll, that's not really a good reason to report someone. Just mute them and let the petty arguing be over. Of course I always report AFKs too but only in ranked because who cares about AFK in normals?! But seriously, if someone's being a jerk, don't get all butthurt and report them. The mute buttons way easier.

It's your prerogative to report behavior you deem reportable, just as it's other people's prerogative to report behavior that they think is reportable.

Eh, I report people for being complete jerks, which has been pretty much every single game I have played so far.

The quality of the players has honestly gotten progressively worse from my experience after the end of each season. Last season, I had a decent amount of players who added me in the end of the game and told me to kill myself or that I should have been aborted, and that would have been very hard to report unless I sent in a support ticket about the whole situation, and even then, there was a chance that the person got away free.

This season, the "adding" part is gone, and people are just flat out blatant with their toxicity. I've pretty much had to report at least one person in each one of my games for the things listed below:

Racism
Sexism
Homophobia (Second most common thing)
Death threats (This has happened only once or twice to me so far)
Bigotry (e.g. calling someone a retard or autistic, or whatever, this is the most common thing I have seen)
Negative attitude (Pretty much in every single game)

The game has gotten much worse in player quality, and I honestly don't know why. It's at the point where I can safely compare the League community with the CoD community in terms of player behavior. Was there something in this season that just opened up Pandora's Box and allowed pretty much a good portion of this community to be verbally abusive, homophobic, sexist, racist, etc.?

I mute; I play; I try to make up after game. Then I report. The trash needs to be taken out, and they need to fix these rules & mechanics.

Tottaly agree! riot made the Mute Buttom for a reason. When someone is angry or so, i dont report them for toxic, i just mute them and problem solved. They release steam in their chat, and i cant see that chat, no need to get them banned or anything similiar. I only report afkers and feeders, those are people who truthly deserve it :) i mean why should i report the 15/2 toxic fizz, when he is carrying the game, and not report the 1/13 sivir, even tho not toxic, who is ruining it.

If I have to mute you, then I am going to report you. The fact that I needed to mute you means that you are creating a negative atmosphere.

I only report when .... I make it to a postgame screen

then I report everyone, they all deserve their bans.[slayer-jinx-wink]
