Man Riot's Chat Restrictions are Whack

I played a game where I was getting flamed by a Rengar for "feeding my ass off", and upon retaliating, I was chat restricted despite having very limited toxicity in my chat logs. I forgot to copy the chat logs but I was mostly defending myself throughout the entire game. But Riot clearly doesn't look into the actual chat logs and just takes 1 person's point of view. I suppose it's my fault for assuming that this company cares about it's playerbase huh

So instead of having one flaming team member you turned it until having two. That's not defending yourself, that's making the problem twice as bad. Should have just muted rengar.

If they didn't care them there wouldn't be any punishments for anything.

Interacting with a flamer, instead of using the mute button, does not do anything but fan that flame. Depending on how you did it you could have been a negative impact on your team and the game as a whole. If you would like us to look at these logs of yours you can post them, and we can look for what Riot might consider negative behavior.

Riot takes a by the books approach here, and only judges you based on what you did and said. What some other guy did and said does not matter to them, which is why they and literally every regular on the Player Behavior board recommends using that mute button.
