your punishment system doesnt "reform" players, it simply bullies them into not talking or talking less, deep down. theyre still the same sarcastic asshole they were before. even if they're considered "reformed" by riot.

TrulyBland2 votesThat's what you might be saying, but that doesn't make it true. There are a lot of people who do understand that they were in the wrong. Hell, even of those that technically do not count as reformed, there are some who understand they have a problem and try to deal with it.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votesit isnt RIOT's job to be their parent and raise the kids. it isnt riots responsibility to make them behave, riot has a responsibility to the major of people who dont act that way to enjoy the game that they have a right to play harassment free. so if riot chooses to chat ban them, ban them from games, or perma bans its best for the whole. now if riot could go to that lil fuker's home and beat his ass and stand him in a corner or take his games from him (oh that is what riot is doing) then maybe there is reforming. but just like the judicial system that sends people to prison. prison isnt going to reform you. it is meant to punish you for your wrong doing. now if you take it upon yourself while being punished,having a time out from society, that you reform your ways and keep it where when you get out that you wont repeat the same mistakes that got you there in the 1st place. that is one bettering themselves not a system enabling it. more then likely you will just end up as a more refined criminal.
people need to take responsibility for their actions and when shit comes down hard on them they need to take that moment to reflect on how they got themselves in that situation and take it upon themselves to correct it.
