Because it does absolutely nothing, even in totally obvious cases 0/20/0 feed, suicide encouragement, etc etc etc.

I checked on the lolking and whatever pages on the people I reported. And guess what? They are still playing, with no break, meaning no ban. I see match histories with dozend of obvious intentional feed or troll games (like all items sold and replaced with tear). And yet... zero punishment. It's like Riot is completly ok with this game being a toxic pile of shite.

Because it surely looks like it. Now if that's the case they should at least be honest and say that they don't give a shit and that reports are worthless, then this entire "reported", "report X" , "x9 report", etc. would end as well.

If you have given up on reporting then the trolls have won.

There should be more visibility, if people could see the effect of their reports they would be encouraged to report more often.

I reported over 20 people this week. 0 punishment notifications.

This is why no one takes this system seriously and why this game is so toxic. Everyone knows nothing is going to happen.

Since Riot isn't willing to admit their faults or step up and start fixing shit, and believe me, everyone in Riot thinks they are doing an amazing job, I'm not buying any more RP and I'm encouraging everyone else to do the same.

Players who int feed, afk etc dont receive punishments. How about all of you checkout these "i was permabanned!!!11" threads and see WHY we get punished. Guaranteed its not int feeding 0/20/0 over and over, it's responding to harassment with verbal abuse, and this leads to chat restrictions, not banishments (unless u use hate speech = auto permaban)
