What's your definition of BM? For some people it's just how people have fun. I like to taunt and dance or emote when I get a cheeky kill, but that's all fun and games. Riot added that stuff in game for a reason.

Unless you mean toxicity in all chat, then I agree that it's kinda dumb.

Personally, I feel like that adds to the emotional distress that people already feel when tilted. You know those clips on youtube where people throw their keyboard, or scream, etc? Well, that's a lot more common than you would think. I see BM'ing as not helping with the problem, but exacerbating it.

I just feel like casual game modes like Normals and Arams should be free from all the stress that comes from ranked.

And I agree with you on the stress from ranked thing, that's why I'm against from toxic bm like flaming your own team/enemys for doing bad. And just a fan of shits and giggles like emotes and dance spamming.

That's true, but you don't think straight when tilted. You fight back and start an argument, etc. It doesn't take much more than that first death to start running it down mid and saying " GG game over." It's far too common, even in normals.

At that point it's way more of a personal problem than anything.. I believe it was Nightblue who I use to watch when everygame he would just /muteall as soon as he went into game. Prevents tilting, but you miss out on communication/the fun of Allchat LUL.

I see your point but can't relate too well, and personally haven't seen someone actually run it down in the last 2 seasons, thankfully.

Unfortunately, a lot of people take it to heart. That's why League is well known to be such a toxic game. When the majority of people acknowledge how toxic the game is, shouldn't something be done rather than just telling everyone to not take it personally?

I enjoy playing the game with friends who are new, but if even a casual game of normals or aram has toxicity, what does say about the community in general?

Just because it's known that people do speak rudely doesn't mean others take it to heart. You're making a claim that doesn't follow reason.

Hatred breeds hatred. Those ragers/trolls in ranked are induced by others. Just look at Tyler 1 . He was a huge troller, but if you check his first few streams, tons of people trolled him. Banned Draven, intentionally feeding the enemy team, etc.
