...the overwatch community, is worse.

WAY WORSE.

Not only are the people over there toxic as hell...but when they are bad, they are REALLY bad. As in, game is decided from minute one - bad.

And there is no punishment system. Nothing. Oh, you can get chatbanned. But that#s it.

There is no permaban! There is no suspension! There is NOTHING. The only thing that comes close, is being locked out of ranked, and that can ONLY happen, if you leave games. ONLY THEN. Toxic behaviour or trolling will get you no further than a chatban.

So they can just insult, harass, troll and basically do whatever they want. Noone can stop them.

And at that point guys, after playing it for 2 hours now, I am ready to fall down on my goddamn KNEES, and thank Teemo, that we have the punishment system. Because thanks to it, the worst day in League, is still better, than the best day in Overtroll.

I play both games.

Overwatch community has significantly lower levels of intelligence across the board (Myself excluded obviously) but less toxic. League of Legends has more intelligent players but higher toxicity.

Yes , Overwatch players are less intelligent than League of Legends players, think about that for a second..... good lord.

They only permaban hackers. Their method of monetization (pay to play) makes it a legal minefield to ban players for anything that doesn't explicitly break the EULA.

Those are account closures for people who cheat or hack.

Same as the season-ban from ranked (for leaving too many ranked games), these have nothing to do with the players behaviour. Again: You can't get a suspension or a perma in overwatch for being toxic.

Leagues community is full of saints compared to that of smite, and even Paladins (now that Paladins is on steam it allows wallet warrior children to flood chat.)

You know what else cannot be muted? The guy that afks in the jungle the entire game while the enemy pushes mid....all because he is throwing a tempter tantrum that he didn't get mid lane. League has it's own problems that aren't punishable.

I agree. And it's a very obvious difference. Which is why I made the distinction in the first place. Going 0-7 in the first 5 minutes isn't "unskilled". Split pushing a tier 2 tower while the enemy 5 mans our inhib isn't "unskilled". Afk farming the jg while the enemy pushes an inhib because you didn't get your desired lane isn't "unskilled". Taking Fizz bot lane, building no support items, and attempting to take all the cs because he wanted mid isn't "unskilled". Going duo jg because you didn't want support isn't "unskilled". Building 6 boots isn't "unskilled".

These 3 are trollin, no question about it, but:

You basically just described half the Yasuo "mains" from Bronze V to Gold I

I always mute that now in S3, and people rage at me in chat to turn it on.

Then I mute them in chat and enjoy playing.

Are you on console or PC? I'm almost certain in your settings you can make it so you don't connect to voicechat channels automatically, rather than needing to leave voicechat channel every time.

Then you'll love TF2

People actually spam 'ggez' at the end of the game or make snarky banter in /allchat. It's fucking awesome. The only problem is that there's significantly less design space in TF2 than League so it gets stale faster than League. Valve also doesn't update nearly as frequently.

League community is only toxic towards players that don't follow Summoner's Code paragraph #1 and are bad.

This is simply false, I have played League for 4 years and played Overwatch extensively from Day 1 and I can without a doubt say that League is by far top 3 most toxic games on the entire web worldwide.

Furthermore, I have actual sources and proof to back it up if requested, as per any fucking website on the entire planet ranks League as one of the most toxic games in the world, and people have actually killed themselves playing League of Legends.

You're just spewing garbage from playing 2 hours of Overwatch on a bad day, but I can tell you after playing over 4500 hours of League and 500 hours of Overwatch that Overwatch makes League look like Guatemala Bay Prison in terms of community.
