Boosting needs to end.

I can understand a few boosters getting through the cracks; But there are people out there right now with hundreds of Twitch viewers, YouTube viewers (not naming names!), openly taking about boosting accounts. They have been doing it for years without penalty.

And yet Riot, why don't you do anything about it? Why must peoples games be ruined like this? Both for the people who play games in the boosting process, and those who must now play with a boosted player! Even the community in general turns a blind eye.

It's bad sportsmanship and defeats the purpose of the ladder--It's just not cricket.

For boosting to end, smurfing needs to end, and Riot's unable or unwilling to take steps to end smurfing.

Well, I have some problems with smurfing but at least that's a guy playing for himself, his matches are representing of his skill (to a degree).

I'd rather we do something about boosting because hopefully, people can actually agree it's not needed in this game.

That's up to Riot. They can see all the accounts of boosters and boosted easily and do whatever is necessary, since the proof is right there.

No i mean. How would riot actually do it?. Cause i can think of no effective way to do it without completely killing their game. Their game is alive because of those vary youtubers/streamers who promote the game through whatever content they put out. If they were unable to do so, they would simply spend more time on fortnite..or whatever other flavor of the month game it is. Cause their youtube channel / Twitch channel IS THEIR JOB. if League is unavailable to them to make content they'll move on....And so will the thousands of players who eat up their content like a fat kid in a twinkie factory.. Effectively taking a slice out of the playerbase. The players who quit because no action is being taken against them is less than the players they would lose if they did take action against the overwhelming number of content providers who make smurf accounts/boost.

I don't watch youtubers and never really did. If they are reliant on people outside the game to promote their game, then they probably are making a mistake somewhere.

EVERY game is reliant on twitch/youtube. These days, having popular streamers play your game can blow it straight out of the water (check fortnite for an example) and having none can leave it floating there, dead. It's not a marketing mistake, it's just how it is these days.

If you have video evidence of them advertising them for boosting, clip it and send it to https://support.riotgames.com and let them handle it.

10 days since when I reported an elobooster linking his opgg and stuff and he is still playing (and being boosted :D).

I'm not bitching, I actually care about the community? I don't like having boosters on my team, or on the enemy team. It ruins the game and you can't leave, and I deal with it a lot more than that at this Elo. People literally copy paste their boosting services in chat. How about that, another thing recordable for Riot and they get away with it.

Unless there's some kinda low elo boosting service where they get gold boosters, there just arent that many people of boosting level per bronzie for this to have a huge impact on yalls games. Its like 50% of the community. In plat you have to deal with D1-challenger smurfs coming through with 70-80% win rates all the time and yet I've never heard anyone bitch about it. Its a learning experience, get better imo.

I'm not talking about boosters getting in the way of climbing, all in all they cause as many wins as losses;* I am not salty about my rank or a recent loss*, I am angry they're allowed to ruin games and waste our time.
