Is it viable to report someone for taking farm as a support?

Just played a game where my support auto'd creeps and wouldn't stop. I pinged him to stop, asked and he replied with "lol noob" and just continued on. Is there a report option for this shit?

edit: limited messages to use ingame for raging at my support for his trolling. Love life.

The purpose of limited messages (I presume chat restriction) is so that you don't rage.

The CS is not owned by any one role/lane. Supports, Jungles, and roaming champions are all permitted to farm CS. The minions are there for everyone - especially if they need to catch up, if they notice you're not going to get one, etc.

Main support here. Supports often auto creeps to push the lane or help you to get the minions low enough. As long as they don't get all the last hits (that could happen from time to time by accident of course), that should be no problem. If they try to steal all your farm, that's bad, but I don't think that's against any rules. You should be able to get all your lasthits, as soon as you got your BF sword.

Reminds me of a time I got this complaint from an adc. I had a relic shield.

this is league of legends.......you can literally report anyone for anything (whether something happens to the person is a different story though).

No. Its supports choice whether he will farm or not. Farm is team resource and pros started meta where they would give all farm to marksman. We are just copying them. That is technically playing off meta, not griefing.

I really feel for you on that one, since i'm an adc main. In all honesty, just fight them for creeps and do your best to make it through that match. Treat it as a duo lane is all I can tell you. Honestly, they may be trying to bait you into a reaction so they can report you and get you punished: do not buy into it.

Next time that happens (which hopefully won't be for a long, long time) just do your best to make it through the game, and if you need to /muteall, just do it.

At the end of that game, you can always just que up again.

Maybe he was pushing the wave for level advantage. Maybe the enemy adc was hard pushing lane while you were last hitting, and the support didn't want the creeps to put damage on the tower. Maybe your support just wanted an ardent censor sooner.

I guess I'd report as griefing or intentional feeding, but from the look of it, he may have said other things that'd be reportable. Are they going to punish him if he only does this once? Unlikely. But if he's been doing this over many games, he might be punished. He'd be more likely to be punished if he's doing something to lose the game.
