Nobody wants to actually play the game. The INSTANT something doesn't work 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000% in their favor, and it can be something insanely stupid and arbitrary, like 2 HP arbitrary, they instantly give up and are ready to go sit in a dark corner praying for the horrible release of death.

Worse yet, there is a growing subcommunity that is doing this as their sworn mission statement, partly just to continue feeling the misery of despair, and partly to outright destroy League of Legends by destroying its player base so theoretically whatever may succeed League comes sooner (because that makes a whole load of fucking sense.)

If the game is such misery to play, why the fuck are you even still playing it? And if you are part of that despair cult, then announce yourselves to Riot so you and the rest of your accursed ilk can be permabanned.

To answer your question, there are not many games that fill this niche, nor many that are as clear on the screen of whats happening. All that said, LoL also was good like 2 years ago, and many people are hung up on the fact this use to be a really good game they enjoyed. That, in of itself, creates despair, anger, frustration, pretty much all the feelings of having something you care about die.

Yeah, I hear you. I've gotten a lot of "get me out of here" and "go next [game]" while counting down the 15:00 timer and keeping their finger on the surrender button. And if you don't surrender? They start trolling or crying about the lack of votes.

I have always tried to be a positive player, encourage people not to give up, etc. It's just too exhausting now.

But the game truly is in a bad place at the moment, I don't care if you think people say it about "every season" or "every change" or whatever. It objectively is not in a good place, feels bad to play, and those feelings are showing. I do think it's best to take a break from League, even just for your own sanity... that's what I'm doing.
