Stop quoting toxic players in game
If someone calls you ANY word that will get them banned, don't quote it in game because it will lead to your account being punished as well. There's no need to say it, just report it.

Player 2 says report x for calling me scum
both will like y get a deserved punishment because both showed a negative attitude.
there is no need or justification to react to anything you see or hear in game
if you don't want to get punished the best thing to do is ignore / mute and if a legitimate infarction quietly and privately report at the end of game with out mentioning anything in chat.
