This BS literally just happened to me, I reminded my top laner to swop his smite to TP, and he told me to fuck myself and he is going jg.

A Rioter already said that its a reportable and bannable offense, but I dont remember which of the categories it fit into. Just mention it in the report notes, if you do end up in the same situation again :(

Im sure the IFS knows that it's a bad thing though, so if you do report him he will probably get punished.

You can report them for negative attitude/griefing. Be sure to include what exactly they did in the comment box provided.

I would really like to know the method for doing this if you are in champ select, and someone intentionally bans your pick and says he is going to go mid, when he gets autofilled. Right, is it worth suffering through that game, just to report them? Or just dodge and forget it, but get penalized yourself? Its a lose/lose either way, and is the prime reason why trolls exist, because no matter what, they always get the upper hand in scenarios like these. They may get banned in the future, but the damage is already done. It'd be smoother if there was a system where you could dodge maybe once or twice daily with no negative effects (LP loss, timer, etc.), or being able to vote in champ select to "dodge" as a team.

I think the correct solution for this would to automatically detect that an intended champion was banned, and in case of a report for this reason, automatically punish the player (something like a 15min on low priority queue, and yes, punish with a single ocurrence as this is a verifiable report)
