because if it was, riot would lose over 50% of their player base. if you dont own a bronze/silver account, go watch some youtube videos. the pingspam is INSANE! its unplayable/unwatchable without the pingmute feature.

muting the chat is so that you dont have to see it anymore if someone is flaming hard. Ping spam is also in all elos, from bronze to plat ive seen ping spam every game, I dont find it annoying unless they're also flaming most of the game. You can also watch alot of streams and see.
