The reason why people afk if they are losing sometimes is probably cause they dont want their mmr to drop even more lol. no balls

MMR is based off of wins and losses. This would just guarantee they lose MMR. No reason to afk, losing or not. A game isn't over until you see the victory screen

Afk counts as a loss, I believe. Therefore, they still lose the MMR.
