My own teammate just banned my pick intent in champselect

I asked him why he banned my , his response was "learn to play a real champ kid".

Its fucked up and happens so many times in game, and they dont even appologize. I just verbally bash the shit out of these people in private game. If you watch these people in ranked games they will fuck up alot. they will miss MIA's and blame the team. They are just the worst kind of player because he didnt troll you, hes just too stupid to look what champ you want to play

And out of the at least 30 people who banned my pick intent and I reported, none actually gets punished cuz Rito think it's fine to ban Riven when BOXBOX is in your team.

Stop talking nonsense. Players are allowed to ban any champion they want.

So you fully condone the idea that "yeah your team gets to tell you what champ THEY will allow you to play?" Yeah who cares if you can completly obliterate the other team with a particular support. THEY decided "Hmmm I have never heard of it so I am just gonna ban it anyways" rather than actually look into it I play a rumble support myself. and It has worked WONDERS...like...scary good when the team has an open mind. But then I get these arrogant jackholes who feel THEY are the deciders of what champs each role is allowed to play. So the next time you get particularly good with a champion, anyone can come along and say "I Dont care HOW good you are with that champ. I have decided its not real so Imma ban it now kthnxbye" Way to stick up for griefers who bully thier team into playing what the BULLY wants.

You are the one talking non-sense, banning teammate's pick intent was stated by Ritoer as unsportsmanlike conduct/assisting enemy team which is a bannable offemce, except the system is so trash(thanks to Lyte) it can't actually detect it.

Where was it stated? As far as i saw them responding to complain threads, they said people can ban anything they want. They said STEALING ROLES is unsporstsmanlike and offense, but is hard to detect. But u are allowed to ban any of 130+ champs that u want.

Why are people allowed to make terrible decisions?

If you couldn't ban an allies pick intent then inevitably when the Balance team royally screws up (60%+ win rate champion), then someone would queue as Support, hover the OP champion, and demand someone trade with them unless they got a different role. To avoid being held hostage, you need to be able to ban ally intent.

Yeah, it's dumb that he did that, but move past it.
