Is there a person I can talk to about it? I don't feel what I posted qualifies as, to quote my warning, " insulting, harassment, or inappropriate satire to others".
I don't know if I can or should link the thread and the deleted comment here, but I'd like to discuss it with someone if I could.
Usually TheCurator (visible boards moderator) will pop in and explain more why the post was removed, but it's typically for obvious reasons. I'd just suggest familiarizing yourself with the Universal Rules. You could share with me what it was, but if you do, leave other summoner names censored at least and I'll take a look.

If you comment on someone's discussion only to say "run away when you're called out on your bullshit" then that qualifies as harassment since there's no actual attempt at having a discussion with them.
If you've already tried to have a discussion and the player doesn't want to engage with you, then just downvote them and leave the discussion.
i had thread deleted for that reason like a year ago, nothing ever came of it. it's no big deal.
I had the same thing happen to me when someone was raging at me on the forums. I responded with a video of a crying baby. My post got deleted and I was warned but their posts remained. My guess is that I hurt their feelings and they reported me. I haven't heard anything back about it and it has been a few months. Don't worry about it too much but I am with you when it comes to wishing I could talk to someone about it. Not justified compared to what most people on the forums say.
