Honestly removing chat was the best thing i've ever done, and it boggles my mind it's not in game

Riot is basically moving the game that direction. If you're not barney and the care bears you're going to get permanent ban for reacting defensively to trolls / bully players. Their new system has only really incentivised toxicity, and it's gotten a whole lot worse recently, because people can trigger other players and then report them to get them banned. The people that ACTUALLY ruin games though? They're good. The problem is chat, not inting/feeding/douching.
