Does Riot ever actually do anything about trolling?

This was probably at least my 7th game this week with someone intentionally griefing a game by trolling.

2 times were people stealing my support role from me since they didn't like my pick (Gragas and Jax, both going tanky as they have good engage and decent base stats so aren't super gold reliant, I've played both multiple times and it works at my very low elo) and both times the other player flamed me for it because I didn't swap lanes with them despite the fact they never mentioned/asked about it once.

So, I have been losing games solely because of people doing whatever they want, normally involving flaming me, and just taking whatever lanes they want with no regard to anyone else in the game.

I always explain exactly what happened in my reports, but so far I have yet to see any of them receive any form of punishment.

So does Riot actually do anything about people trolling, or do they only go after people hacking or using racial/derogatory terms?

Im just going to say right now, I dont trust your support picks either. Regardless of how "good" you think they would make as a support there is a reason why they are upset. They think you are trolling.

Yes they shouldnt flame you, but at the same time you shouldn't be going so far off meta that its disrupting the gameplay of other players.

I'm very confident that you have not been an angel in this case either and have done your fair share of flaming back at your team for what they have either said or their performance in game.

To simply answer your question, yes RIOT does ban these players, thousands every day are banned.

But seriously, from now on dont pick gragas or jax support, you look like a troll who is pissed he didn't get the lane he wanted so he is going his one trick regardless of viability for the team. [slayer-jinx-unamused]
