just because you can't get banned for it. doesnt make it okay. this is by far one of the most aggrevating forms of trolling, simply because there is NOTHING anyone can do about it. plus, due to the fact you don't know who's doing it. it causes friction among your teamamtes "ok guys who fucking voted no"

In a ranked game it is very common for people to vote no. Everyone has been in a game where they had no right winning and somehow pulled out a miracle victory, so why not hope it can happen again. The worst case scenario is you lose anyway.
People complain you are "wasting their time" but they chose to queue up and knew what they were getting themselves into. I have no sympathy for people who feel this way. The system requires a 4-1 majority to pass a vote. If you don't get this majority then keep playing, end of story. I have you on mute anyway so complain all you like.

My issue isnt with people who vote no. My issue is with people who intentionally vote no for no other purpose other than to drag out the game

In my experience it is the best way to play the game. Perhaps it is unfortunate that the community is so toxic that I feel forced to play this way, but it is what it is and I make the most out of it.

/mute all is a catch 22. most people become toxic because "people won't listen when i ask nicely so i have to get rude" and /mute alling contributes to people's frustration, especially in low elo where games are often decided based on teamwork as opposed to actual skill
so by typing that command in chat, while you may not be participating in it, you are fueling people's rage

Like I said, the ping system is extremely effective. If they are going to rage over something like not getting a response then they were likely going to rage at the next small inconvenience they came to. Muting them allows me to avoid hearing their pointless drama.
I am not fueling anything, they are filling up that tank on their own. Clearly you disagree but my opinion is you are just flat out wrong on this point.

L2play the game and the need to surrender goes bye-bye which is why I think RIOT should take it out of the game so those players who are too F'in lazy to improve can't use it as an F'in crutch anymore. It is abused for this reason at low elo. Nothing more and nothing less. You waste my time by ignorance and laziness and I will waste your time because unlike you I will learn something by finishing the game.

People putting up the /ff obviously think the game is over, so chances are they won't even be trying anymore. That hurts your chances of winning even more. even worse is when one person on your team is getting flamed/harassed, the person being flamed is essentially being held hostage, and may be having trouble not typing back, and a surrender vote may be the only thing saving them from getting themselves troll reported

there comes a point where overly optimistic people become just as annoying as overly pessimistic people, when you're down 30 kills and naked inhibs, and 3 people desperately want to just leave the match, and 1 person knows the game is over, but is deliberately stalling to spite the rest of their teammates, or worse, trying to get people to flame so they get chat restricted/banned. at that point you're jar jar binks

Maybe instead of surrendering so much you should look at how the game could be won? I see more surrender votes at 20-25 minutes when most of the towers are still up and the game is pretty even than when the inhibs are down and super minions are pouring into base.

in my experience most times a surrender vote fails 3/2 there's usually 1 person legitimately trying to win, and 1 person trolling the vote

i feel like the person initiating the surrender vote should be anonymous as well. that way who starts the vote isn't affecting the decision,
