Just had someone throw my promotion series

Was my final game for my promotion series, and at that moment I was 2 wins 2 losses. At first, the game was going pretty even, with Rengar and Talon starting to get kills on both teams. However, once Viktor died a few more times to Talon in lane (I believe it was the third death), Corki took the Care Package from base and used it to jump directly in to the middle of enemy team and died nearly instantly. Not even aiming the Valkyrie near the enemies, just using it to get to them. I had asked why he went so aggro when I wasn't near, and his reply was "I want to lose".
He followed the same pattern every 5 minutes from that point on, care package comes in, and he would use it to die to the enemies. Rengar on my team tried to ask Corki to stop, and his reply was "Well mid shouldn't have taken my role and fed". And after that statement he began to just start feeding purposely without waiting for the Package.
Towards the end I was really salty and said in chat "there goes my @#$& promotion series", which Corki responded with a smile. :)... Post game in the chat before leaving he leaves another taunt of :))))))))))))))))))
Yes, I reported him. Yes, I'm still salty. Yes, this is a QQ thread because I really want to vent. No, I'm not 100% sure that I would've won that game if Corki didn't intentionally feed. By the way, this game was in high platinum/low diamond elo.
I doubt it would happen, but would love if I could get a redo on the last game for my series. I understand though why it wouldn't happen, if one person got special treatment, then everyone would need it. And It happens way too often that people would get a do-over on a series because of an afk, troll, or etc. I'm pretty sure there's no way Riot would have the resources to look over every single case. So meh. :P
TL;DR Be careful of trolls and intentional feeders during promotion series! Hate to say this but you may need to cater to someone's will if you want to win, no matter how uncommunicative they are.
