Money does not grant you diplomatic immunity

Just because you spent money on this game doesn't mean that you're going to have a lighter or negated sentence if and when you start being a shitheel. I've seen too many threads here where people complain about how they just got banned when they shouldn't have because they spent "a lot of money" on this game.

That's not how the judgement system works. If you start being a prick, you're going to get punished for it. If you continue to be a prick, obviously you haven't learned the error of your ways and it's time for you to go. And then you're going to come on here and beg for Riot to not ban you because of the exact things I listed up there, claiming you learned your lesson and that you don't want your money to blah blah blah. I've seen this happen in real time with people I used to play with. Someone is a prick, gets banned, acts like they learned their lesson, hops on a smurf, and continues to do the exact same shit all over again and has THAT account eventually banned.

Let this be a lesson to anyone out there who feels like they have to dump $500+ on cosmetics, most of which they'll never use. Your account is not insured against your own douchebaggery, so straighten up and fly right!

As much as I want to believe this holds true, there's one exception: when you've spent enough to buy the entire Riot company and have it does as you please, then your account will have immunity and those who suffer from the corruption are too small of a minority for public to notice.

Fortunately no one's rich enough to do that.
