Got a taste of the infamous League toxicity

Went Cho'Gath mid, decided to play relatively tanky because that's what I'm most comfortable with, and oh boy, did my team hate me. For no reason. I didn't raise my voice, I didn't insult anybody, I was open to suggestions, and the entire team just decided to verbally abuse me. "Oh, you playing like a %%%got, running away." I ran away because I had low health against a stunlock team with a Vel'Koz. "Stupid Cho'Gath" because I left the team for one second and Sion and Zyra and Kennen locked them down. "Goes full tank and doesn't even go in". Yes, because charging into a team like that is a good idea; but that's not to say I didn't go in. I did. I tried to rush down and disrupt them. "This Cho'Gath, am I right?" Why did you charge into three of them as low health and I was walking toward you? I didn't play abysmally. I went fairly well, trying as hard as I could. But damn. And it doesn't help that I can't defend myself post-chat without sounding like the bad guy trying to save himself.
