I'm so sick of people who play this game for the wrong reasons.

That's not to say that there are objectively wrong reasons to play any game, but holy shit it seems like they're all that's left after years of riot catering and designing their game with them in mind.

I'm talking about the people who only play the game to win (not even in ranked). Then constantly berate anyone who is just playing to have fun, and doesn't care about the outcome of a particular match. The kind of people who are incapable of enjoying a game beyond the results they're expecting for the match.

If you're wanting to get better at this game fine. Though, that's clearly not the reason these people play, otherwise they might take a losing game as an opportunity to learn how to improve. Even if you're only concerned with winning, getting angry at your teammates for not doing literally everything to try and win is fucking stupid, because you're assuming they have the same intentions for playing as you.

To all the elitist try hards, this game is already being tailored for you with complete disregard for the other players. The least you could do is shut up and actually try to learn to play the game, because apparently this person's half-assed builds and half-hearted play is enough to put them in the same MMR as you.

"You're shit" is probably the least self aware insult I've ever seen thrown around in this game.

You should never "not care about the outcome of the match" you should strive to have fun but at the same time strive to win. That doesn't mean you can't have fun if you lose, but the goal of having fun should not supersede the goal of winning. If you're not playing to win and have fun equally then there really is no point to play at all.

Dude... the title of your post is one of the least self aware things I've seen thrown around. Just because you have an idea of a good reason to play the game, doesn't mean their reason is wrong. Holy shit.

If you were vs a challenger player.. and the challenger player kept forcing you to back and or die and you are in the death timer screen over and over again, would you still be having fun?

If you had a bronze 5 player on your team and he fed the bronze 1 player on the enemy team.. and that B1 player came to your lane and killed you over and over so you spend longer time in the death timer screen would u still be having fun?

You should at least want to mostly win than mostly lose... and you certainly shouldn't want a player with 2k more gold than you at 15 mins coming to your lane because your teammate doesn't care about winning or getting better at the game.

Or you can just play normals and mute everyone that bad mouths u for building weird things cause you want to have fun.
