can we have statistics of punished players who play ranked? because i'd venture to guess it's a lot higher than 5% because if you take away lvl 1 inactives sub 30 smurfs. and aram/bot game only players. it would have a much more accurate representation of the community.

Just searching the Internet pulls up tons of news articles with opposing information (for example: http://kotaku.com/stats-suggest-most-league-of-legends-players-actually-a-1658605394 ) but none that remotely come close to what you are saying. Granted that one is coming up on being near two years old but I doubt things suddenly got worse by a magnitude of x12.

Or on anything else that might contradict what Riot says.
People want you believe there is some sort of magical island where all the toxicity is gone and people are all nice and polite and respectful. Use your own personal experience as a guideline, those are the only "facts" you've got.

Also, I wouldn't be so confident using your own personal experience. People are highly unreliable when it comes to recalling things and also subject to confirmation bias.
