Toxicity is not only rude, but it does absolutely nothing for anybody

Including the person being toxic.

Your teammate is not going to magically do better because you're trash-talking them.

The pain of a loss is not going to be eased by last-minute bullying in the end-of-game lobby.

On top of that, both parties are going to forget it in a few hours.

You will gain nothing from being toxic, but you are still liable to loose something; in spite of what the internet may tell you, Riot's punishment system does work a great deal of the time.

So please, resist being toxic for your sake. The person's probably muted you by now, so you might as well be screaming into a hole in the ground.

Speak for yourself.

Your teammate is not going to magically do better because you're trash-talking them.

It depends on how they handle flame, and how well they take criticism.

The pain of a loss is not going to be eased by last-minute bullying in the end-of-game lobby.

It (hopefully) reminds them that they should stop playing badly/making excessive mistakes, and ruining the competitive experience for others.

On top of that, both parties are going to forget it in a few hours.

Then why do you care? Also noting that some forget immediately.

Not against inters and trolls lmfao. And even against flamers, some can bypass the system.

So please, resist being toxic for your sake. The person's probably muted you by now, so you might as well be screaming into a hole in the ground.

If my toxicty is not heard by anyone, then why. Do. You. Care?

It REALLY doesn't. I report ppl all the time and they are almost never punished.

The point of this game is to be toxic. That's its core gameplay hook.

Let's clarify one thing tho, calling people out on mistakes is not toxicity. Being rude is not toxicity. Questioning people's decisions is not toxicity. Those are all things that are sometimes necessary for good teamwork, well except the being rude part.

To be completely honest it does help to blow off some steam

Placing so much weight on something easily mutable is still the dumb League of Legends community this place will ever be.

Address all these griefers and inters. Nobody gives a fuck about some words on a screen.

What do you mean by toxicity?

I think matchmaking has a lot to do with the tendency towards toxicity. I mean, when you're on a team that has that one guy (or more) who is feeding hard or not doing anything that makes sense for the match they are in with the rest of the team; AND you're against a team with some superman god(s); AND even if you've played conservatively and decently in your lane; BUT you still lose hard and get stomped because of how easy it is to shove to platform now AND the enemy team has end-match-geared players from their escapades; AND YOU'RE STILL STUCK IN THE MATCH 30 minutes later because said enemy team is just kill farming; AND THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME. . . you might be a bit upset, too.

Matches that are evenly paced or when your team is the one with the stomping advantages don't tend to have any sort of negativity of note. I mean here and again there's that one guy who just lives to be as offensive as possible. But for the most part, toxicity seems to have a strong correlation to the state of the matchmaking and the utter waste of time of said match while you get farmed/stomped for 30-45 minutes because "Guys, we got this. We scale better late game. Just one good teamfight (that'd end up being 1/200), and we can win!" And sometimes you do. But even then, victory still feels sour and frustrating.

Hold Riot accountable for the poor choices they seem to be making. If you can't fix the problem, consider the source. It's like trying to detoxify the river DuPont dumps chemicals in instead getting DuPont to stop dumping chemicals in the river.

River. There. I made a relevant point. Toxins in the river.

I'm sorry you created this thread and got harassed with toxicity.

This community is horrible. It's beyond me how I encounter complete assholes every game even with the new punishment system which seems pretty harsh.

By flaming, they also take some of their own attention away from the game as well as negatively impact the other's in almost every case.

And their goal... Ready for it...? To win.
