Man I do love having a player saying they don't give a f--- about being reported, they just won't support. What I love more is that it forces someone to dodge and there still isn't a way to report someone from the client outside of a post-game lobby, so these players can do this stuff all day.
I didn't get a screenshot of the chat so there's no point in sending a report ticket in.

I've been seeing this behavior a lot more than usual this season and I believe it is likely due to Riot pushing the role towards being a ward bot. Last season sightstone became more of a niche item where not all supports had to necessarily own a sightstone in order to do well at the role. But with the removal of more interactive starting items like Face of the Mountain, Frostqueen's, and Talisman of Ascension, the role has been pushed very heavily into ward bot territory which I feel has pushed many players away from the role, myself included.
According to the boards, you are not forced to play the way Riot wants you to, as long as you don't feed. So, the guy can play Jarvan in the bottom lane while assigned support. As long as he doesn't feed, it's ok, right? Or is it trolling? I don't know anymore.
I mean, people actually support troll runes, bad builds etc, but someone denying to play a support champion is somehow bad?
keep in mind a player who does that is probably better than you. all the games where he gets support and trolls artificially lower his mmr. he almost definitely belongs higher.
so if you really want to win then your best bet would be to swap him.
I do this,support is the only role i refuse to play. playuing brain dead champions against braindead champions sitting behind an adc all game and wasting your time on what i consider "not playing league of legends" when janna sona karma and lulu all sit at 46% winrate i may consider touchingthis role. if it comes to it i woll rather double jungle than support.
