Your team lost the game. Your team lost LP.
The only time that you will not lose LP from a loss is when Riot has enabled "Loss Prevention" due to server maintenance, force quitting games to apply a patch, etc.
The matchmaking system is designed so that you get placed with people around your skill level. Theoretically (and honestly don't even try and dispute this) you should experience people like that about equally on your team and on the enemy team. Just finish the game, move on, and then report after.
