About 15-20% of my games at Diamond V have a leaver. Can something please be done to mitigate this?

i.e. reduced MMR losses for the team with the leaver, since this isn't a zero sum game.

It's getting kind of ridiculous.

The problem with messing with LP is it opens a whole can of worms for exploitation, accusation and general stupidity.

The positive side is both sides get the leavers equally. The only fix is preventing leavers in the first place instead of trying to do damage control.

i just have to think about the post i made a few weeks ago, showing statistics that on every server the higher the elo, the more games end with a surrender. in KR challenger, almost 40% of games end with a surrender (and that pretty early)

Wow an actually reasonable stat. Alot of people go with 80% and just ruin their entire argument by lying lol. Good on you. I hope they figure something out to mitigate it, but I doubt they will find any reasonable solution beyond punishments deterring people.
