I'll keep it concise, I've made my point enough in previous posts. Its not a hard one to explain.

I CONSTANTLY see club tags with homophobic, racist, culturally insensitive, and hateful connotations. Probably in about 3-4 out of every 10 games, someone's got an offensive club tag. Pick a condemnable word, and I've seen it used as a club tag in one way or another.

If riot claims they have a zero tolerance stance on these types of behavior in chat, and in summoner names - why is it allowed in club tags? Futhermore, why do I have no option to report it in-game? I have to resort to using a third party screenshot app and navigate through an entire (poorly designed) support website to get things taken care of, and even then I get copy/paste generic responses and no guarantee anyone did anything about it.

Also, riot needs to step up their game as far as summoner name and club tag filtering. Its not hard to prevent things like N!gger and fa g0t. I'm a 400-level computer science student and I know how to do it, so I'd hope that professional game designers would have the same or better knowledge.

report there name and write club tag in comments. In the mean time toughen up because the world aint rainbows and unicorns

The other day I was playing an aram Although I cant remember the 5 letter tag off hand I do remember the club name was something like "Islamic state terrorists" and I was trying to figure out how the system even allowed that

The more you talk about this kind of stuff the more it propagates. 10-15 years ago people were way much tolerant, have you seen Chappelle show? The more you show tenacity the quicker these type of things wither down. And this guy had the audacity to tell the other guy that he is more tougher person than the other guy will ever be.

Yesterday a gay guy was crying and being annoying on a joke in Hashinshin's reddit thread and even the other gays thought that person was getting worked up over nothing.

It's because of people like these that there is so much hate right now. I don't like xyz I should create a monthly hate thread regarding xyz, tomorrow I will be against abcd so I create a hate thread against that. What a load of bs.

For all the people trying to argue with this guy. Its no use. He'll just make another thread on the same topic.
Honestly, for people like OP, it would just be better if Riot gave us an option to see club tags (Default Off for new players so they'll never get the chance to get offended over club names unless they actually turn it on) because like others have said... You can't stop people. If they want to do it, they will do it.

Since you seem to be getting crap about this post.... I wanted to say I totally agree with this. While the internet is not a safe place, and the world itself isn't safe and "rainbows and unicorns" for all, we can still try to put all that aside and play a game. Why should I go and play league and escape from the world around me and play a game that has no political ties or ties of any kind to the real world, and still see all this crap?

Now, I understand that I'm not forced to talk about it and I can just move on. Although I don't understand how people can try to say we should stop being racist and stop caring about gender, and yet we still can't say "maybe we should screen club tags" without people thinking that "oh, you're just weak (or etc)".

I may not have put that in the best of words, and while people may have other opinions, I am putting my opinion out there. Now down/up vote... or whatever people do here on the boards.

Just report them? Seriously, id be more pissed if riot decided to try and make some better filter for club tags to try and snuff these all out at creation given half the time filters dont work right and limit things weirdly (hell is an ok word to a filter but hello is blocked.... gg) Not to mention filters never work. It doesnt matter what behavior you try to filter out, people will just find a way around said filter. They always do. Especially if you try to filter out ERPers.

Just report them and it will get dealt with most likely relatively swiftly.

I see stuff like "BloMe" "N3GRO" "urGay" and "F*GGS" (Asterisk = A) basically all the time.

There's way more than that, but I just woke up and it was all I could remember off the bat.

It's very annoying and makes me think so much less of the people I see it on.
