In my opinion, it's fine the way it is. The person who failed to connect is still wasting the time of the other people in the game, and could go on to ruin games for others if the reason they got the LeaverBuster in the first place goes unresolved.

A LeaverBuster always points to a bigger issue that needs attention. Technical issue or otherwise, you should take care of any issues first before continuing to queue.

The purpose of remaking is to NOT punish the people in game who has to deal with a leaver.

Just because Riot makes it up to the other players for the leaver, doesn't mean the leaver should get a lighter punishment.

Leaving is leaving.

If the game is remade, it still doesn't change the fact you DC'd.

Wouldn't that just make it more common for people to afk out of games? Seems extremely unhealthy. Load in, realize your lane opponent is a division higher than you, AFK out and get forgiveness due to the remake while wasting the time of nine other people.

i never dodge queue and i never int flame or rage quit in games... yet im always screwed by leaverbuster when the game refuses to load or reconnect.. so why do i have to get banned everytime someone remakes... isnt the LP loss enough... i mean people who were in game and voted to remake wouldnt lose more than 5 minutes of their lives but i would have to sacrifice a 100 mn in low priority queue cause that one dude couldnt wait a half minute for me to reconnect. so yeah i think the punishement of remake is too heavy
