i had a game where my net dropped for 10 min. i was having trouble reconnecting. i played and because we had a booster on our team most likely (our adc went 44/4 in bronze). what happened is even though i actually played, i still lost lp. i played so i believe i should still get lp. the afk want even my fault. Also it happened early onl and i playedfor 20min. i can understand if you left and didn't try to come back should is still get lp

Four players had to compensate your absence and you damaged their player experience. Would you have posted here if they had lost the game or surrendered while you were disconnected or if the jungle had crushed you?

You couldnt know how long it would take you to reconnect, so its a coincidence you attended the end of the game. According to LoL rules and common sense, you dont deserve the LP. Beside rage quit, another abuse could be blackmailing into AFKing and not even disconnect but staying in the fountain, watching whats going on and deciding to resume playing or not.

If you abandon a game for whatever reason for a certain amount of time, you are considered as AFK and you will lose LP regardless of the outcome of the game. Your four teammates won their LP though. In essence, you dont deserve the LP since you didnt fully participate in the victory.

It would be too easy to rage quit and come back 25 min later and have a quick look and stay for a little bit just to see the Nexus destruction and snatch undeserved LP.

Your connection drop is not your fault but its still your responsibility.

you should get (heavily) reduced lp. because you came back.

but still you were afk a major part of the game. game can be decided in 30 seconds. and 10min is an awful long time.

I remember the first time that happened to me cuz I came back and crushed but still got a loss. Sucks. Oh well. Yes I think you should get it still personally. As long as you came back and were in the game 60% of the time.
