If Intentional Feeding isn't 0-tolerance, why isn't it?

Just something I'm curious about, having played a couple games with people who intentionally feed. (Not necessarily on my team, neither) It's something that isn't excusable in any capacity (even as a so-called "strategy") and shouldn't be allowed in the game. I'm referring. If someone's so tilted by whatever reason that they're constantly running down their lane to die just to make their allies suffer, that's incredibly toxic (more-so than any amount of chat arguing) and should be dealt with immediately.

It is. It's also one of the hardest to detect and prove is actually inting and not just someone being ass at the game, and requires manual review.

That manual review process is not helped by the fact that people report for inting for the dumbest shit a lot of the time.

It is equivalent to a zero tolerance chat offense: a 14-day suspension for a first offense

Maybe because what you think is intentional feeding is something else most of the time? I mean, really. We hear this all the time.

"Somebody died a lot, so they must have been feeding". It couldn't possibly have been a bad matchup or, gasp, a bad game. "They just walked into lane and died." Guess you've never heard of burst before. "They didn't play defensively enough." You're not the coach.

In most situations where one player accuses another of feeding, it's because they lost and they want to place blame, which is why there are so many false Intentional Feeding reports. It would be much easier to train a detection system if people would stop doing that.

Hell even zero tolerance holds tolerance. Zero tolerance should mean permaban. But I guess Riot believes giving second chances is a good thing. Imo, inting should be true ZT, permaban first offense.
