How does reporting even work?

If someone is cursing their head off, and I forget to report them. Does the system simply not punish them? Or if someone AFK's and they have the redded out name, but I forget to report them? OR if someone has an vulgar or racist name, and I forget to report them?

You get the idea.

(No idea how [Insert vulgar name here] hasn't already been banned by the system.....)

If there is no report for a player, the system won't punish for that chat.

Reports are significant on a per-game basis because no one is punished on game data alone. So if there are no reports in a given game, the system assumes no one had a bad time, and there’s no reason to consider punishing a player. This means that if you play with a negative player and don’t report them, they won’t receive a punishment and likely won’t reform.
