Why are people getting away with false reports?

I have been noticing that people ask other to report someone in all chat. They say report "insert champion name" but the person has not said anything in all chat, so people from the other team just blindly report. It doesn't matter if they actually were toxic or not the fact is the other team did not see it, so their report (at the time of reporting) is false.

Another thing ive noticed is that people report others for playing unconventional champions. I recently started playing unconventional champions in the support role and i keep getting complained to and reported for playing them. They have all the things a support needs so i dont see the problem. (CC, vision control, peel, and kite potential)

People might say, "well there reports dont count for anything so it doesn't matter". Well the problem with that is ive gotten report notices during stats because of multiple people reporting me when I do.

I think riot needs to add some things to the game, like punishment for too many false reports ( warnings. cant report, or limited reports(daily)). Also in ranked you should not be able to play champions you do not own. As well as not being able to play champions that you don't have at least level 3 mastery on (in ranked). Normals blind/draft are you for fun and practice. ARAM is for fun. Dominion, who plays that. Team builder is for fun and practice. Ranked is for gaining elo and playing your best, not trying out new to little played champions.

If the person did nothing wrong then nothing will happen to them and the people who report will have less weight in their reports. False reporting does nothing to people who did nothing wrong.

Warnings does not mean the reports were reviewed or validated. It just means you are getting reported more than the usual amounts. Warnings does not mean you will get ban soon, just that your account might be up for inspection/review.

How are they "getting away"? If you go to police now and report someone for certain crime u suspect them of commiting, and police investigates and finds out he didnt commit it, they wont throw u in jail, they will just disregard your future reports. Thats how it works here too.
